Built in 1903, Westminster Cathedral is the largest catholic church in England and Wales. The interior with its rich applications of marble and mosaic, seats up to 3000 people. After extensive design work and testing by CBG Light Perceptions, a new lighting system was introduced in 2023. For the illumination of the nave and the high altar, Monoflood luminaires with various light distributions are installed. Throughout this project, Commercial Lighting Systems Ltd, Meyer’s sole distributor in the UK, provided on-site service and supplied custom-made support structures for the floodlights mounted on the galleries.
