No. 1 Martin Place was built in 1891 as the central post office and is part of a group of historical buildings in the centre of Sydney. The main requirement of the new lighting design was to create a comfortable atmosphere with modern technology products. This was achieved using Superlight Compact Micro floodlights equipped with extra warm white LEDs which thanks to their compact dimensions, are very unobtrusive on the façade of the building. Low power consumption and minimal maintenance make this a sustainable lighting project with convincing aesthetics.
