The WA Museum Boola Bardip located in Perth’s Cultural Centre, is a premier cultural institution dedicated to Western Australia’s rich natural and social heritage. Re-opened in 2020 and designed by OMA and Hassell architects, contemporary structures wrap around heritage-listed buildings which compliment each other. For the accent lighting of the historical façades, in-ground luminaires of the Uplight and Upline series as well as Superlight Nano floodlights are used. Pole-mounted Nightspot floodlights illuminate the space around the museum and the sheltered plaza inside the building complex. Uniform illumination of the soffits is provided by Superlight LED floodlights with wide beam light distribution. The exterior luminaires are carefully integrated in their surrounding and reveal the main features of the architecture.
