The Piece Hall is a Grate I listed building which dates back to 1779 when it traded “pieces” of cloth and made Halifax one of the most ambitious and enterprising towns in the North of England. Today the building and spacious courtyard are used as a cultural venue and include shops and restaurants. The colonnades are illuminated with uniform, warm light from Superlight LED floodlights equipped with various different optics. At the western gate linear luminaires of the Ecoline series are used to graze the façade.
